Two of my blogs demonstrating the power of delusion, the lie, the absurd pretend game this country practices every day. When considered together they demonstrate just how in denial this country is about what really happened on 9/11.

Israeli Army Chief under Attack over Share Sell-Off
Geez.... this all sounds so familiar, someone selling off shares of stock to make money on an incident used as a "pretext" to launch a long planned war against another country.

There are just a few differences however which contrast America's behavior versus Israel’s.

One : There is no evedence whatsoever that the Israeli government financed or cooperated with Hezbollah prior to or after any of their operations, unlike the U.S. government's support of, and relationships with, the Taliban, Al Queada, the Saudis, the bin Ladens, Pakistan's ISI, etc.prior to and after their opperations, including the attack on 9/11.

Two : There is no evidence to date that the General, his staff or anyone in the Israeli government "cleared the decks" in an effort to restrict information regarding their overall activities prior to or after the Hezbollah kidnapping.  Whereas upon assuming office the Bush administration intended to eliminate or weaken any laws that would have provided oversight into their activities prior to or after 9/11.  They changed the federal statutes to reclassify almost all federal documents top secret, took any FOIA requests regarding their meetings, such as Cheney's energy task force all the way to the Supreme Court to block these requests, etc.

Three : There is no evidence to date that the General, his staff or anyone in the Israeli government "cleared the decks" in an effort to prevent their own prosecution regarding their activities prior to or after the Hezbollah kidnapping,  whereas upon assuming office the Bush administration intended to eliminate or weaken such laws prior to or after 9/11.  They refused to join or abide by the U.N. court regarding crimes against humanity, they refused to renew the special prosecutor act, etc.

Four: the General sold off his shares AFTER the incident not before as happened with various insurance companies and airline stocks PRIOR to 9/11.

Five : the General did not have any relationships, financial or otherwise, with the families of the Hezbollah fighters who captured the two Israeli soldiers. Unlike the thirty year fininancial, personal, and political relationships the Bush family and everyone in Bush's cabinet have had with the Saudi and bin Laden families.

Six : The General did not arrange for over a hundred members of the Hezbollah fighters’ families to leave Israel the next day, nor did he arrange for any flights out of the country, nor did he escort them to the border, unlike what our government did a day after 9/11

Seven : There is no evidence to date that the General canceled any investigations by Israeli security forces regarding Hezbollah's plans, had meetings with Hezbollah, reduced border security prior to Hezbollah's attack, reduced  funding requests for security programs prior to Hezbollah's attack, or took personal or financial precautions prior to the attack. This is in direct contrast to what occurred in the Bush administration.
 
Eight: Everyone has acknowledged that Hezbollah kidnapped the two solders including Hezbollah itself, everyone knows Iraq had no connections with 9/11

Nine: The incident is actually being investigated by the Israelis and has received public approbation, whereas America refuses to investigate similar circumstances surrounding 9/11 and whereas the American public has demonstrated an utter lack of concern about the issue.

Ten: The incident is actually being investigated by the Israeli mass media, unlike the complete indifference shown by America's mass media to the events leading up to 9/11.

Eleven: There is no evidence that the General or his staff where given repeated reports or warnings about the planned abductions, unlike the warnings members of the Bush Administration received prior to 9/11. - update : 09-18-06  It appears that just like Bush & 9/11, Olmert's government was given warnings about Hezbolla's kidnapping plans and just like Bush, Olmert choose to ignore the warnings so he could have a pretext to launch his long planned invasion. - Eleven will be removed soon when this blog is updated and renumbered with additional items to be added.   MPG 09-18-06

Twelve: There is no indication that the General, his staff or anyone in the Israeli government ever stated they needed a "Pearl Harbor style event".  Whereas such statements are contained in documents released PRIOR to 9/11 by PNAC. 

Thirteen : There are no indications (yet) that the General, his staff, or anyone in the Israeli government, created, are members of, or are affiliated with, an organization equivalent to PNAC, unlike many of the people in Bush's cabinet.

Fourteen: There is no indication yet that the General, his staff , or the Israeli government are actively condoning or encouraging the use of death squads in Lebanon as apposed to the present American policy in Iraq.

Fifteen : There is no evidence that the General, his staff or anyone in the Israeli government manufactured evidence, twisted intelligence, or falsified information obtained by the Israeli security forces to justify Israel’s attack on Lebanon.  This is in sharp contrast to what occurred within the Bush administration and the U.S. intelligence services regarding Iraq.

Sixteen: There is no evidence (yet) that the General, his staff or anyone in the Israeli government discouraged the soldier’s families from investigating and or taking legal action against the parties involved.  Unlike what occurred with the Bush administration.

Seventeen : There is no evidence (yet) that the General, his staff or anyone in the Israeli government are continuing to make vast war profits due to their attack on Lebanon, as apposed to all the members of the Bush administration.

Eighteen : There is no evidence (yet) that anyone in Hezbollah has or is continuing to make vast war profits due to the kidnapping of the Israeli soldiers or it's aftermath, Israel’s attack against Lebanon.  Exactly opposite of the vast profits generated by 9/11 and ensuing wars which the bin Ladens and Saudi Royals are continuing to reap from their investments in the U.S.'s Military-Industrial-Oil-Complex.

Nineteen :  Israel who was no longer occupying Lebanon, re-invaded it with intentions to occupy it using the kidnappings as a pretext.  Whereas the U.S. doing the exact opposite, left the one country who was most responsible for 9/11, Saudi Arabia, and removed our troops from that country to invade "their" enemy using 9/11 as the pretext.

Twenty:  There is no evidence that the General, his staff or anyone in the Israeli government are muzzling the press in regards to prior or ongoing financial or military support for Hezbollah, unlike what has occurred with the U.S. "mass media's"  complete lack of coverage regarding the Saudi Royals and bin Laden families.

Twenty One :  There is no evidence that the General, his staff or anyone in the Israeli government have used the war against Lebanon to alter the electoral process, curtail civil rights (at least in regards to the Jewish population) or propose radical new theories for Israel's constitution.  Unlike what has occurred in the U.S.

Oh....least I forget, Twenty Two : Hezbollah kidnapped two Israeli soldiers, 9/11 killed almost three thousand Americans.

Other than that they’re exactly the same.

Oliver Stone, 9/11, and the Big Lie
This is a great article, it lists all the polls which show just how stupendously mind-boggling stupid many Americans appear to be. I say "appear to be” because at some point one has to consider on a clinical level whether it's physically or psychologically possible for any group of human beings to be this moronically stupid.

At some point, such behavior becomes something much more horrible, more sinister, more sick, more implausible, demonstrating the shriveling of the American soul.  It becomes a vile pretense, a pretend play of plausible deniability. We all become the dwellers in an apartment building in New York listening to the screams of Kitty Genovese as she is repeatedly stabbed for over half an hour while no one calls the police.

At some point it all becomes a charade, a game of hide and seek where a Faustian barging is struck. They promise to hide the truth from us and we promise not to find out what it is.  Despite our best efforts however the truth leaks out and we realize we are the enablers of torture and murder, looking the other way while barbarous ugly things are done in our name.

And PLEASE, let's not pretend shall we ...I’m not talking about water boarding, or suspending people from the ceiling, or sleep deprivation, or sexual humiliation, or beatings.  I'm talking about much, much worse.

And what about 9/11, the whole world now knows what actually happened, the Great Game, PNAC, the money, oil and power, the incestuous relationships between the Saudi Royals, bin Laden and Bush families.  When Cain killed Able, his very own brother, he bore the mark of shame for the rest of his life.  Those of you in this country who are pretending not to know be advised your act is no longer credible.

There comes a time when a person can no longer blame the "mass media" for their indifference, their deliberate blindness, their refusal to acknowledge the truth.

There comes a time when a person becomes a collaborator, a facilitator, a co-conspirator where "I didn't know" or “I had no idea" or “they didn't tell me" or "I didn't see what was going on" is no longer believable by any moral person.

At some point such behavior violates what “a reasonable person should know”.  Laws based on this principle exist in many states and people have been prosecuted using them.

At some point you cross a line and there's no going back....ever
