Has the Government Broken the Social Contract with the American People?
A quote...."In a provocative comment to an essay I wrote, Kevin de Bruxelles argues that the government has broken the social contract with the American people, and discusses the ultimate meaning of such a breach of contract:"

One should add as long as people have the right to freely garner, exercise and accurately count their votes AND the contract (the Constitution) remains unbroken, the "people" should generally remain law abiding and peaceful.  The Constitution of this country however, has without a doubt, been thoroughly broken, to quote what was written two days ago on this blog.....

Perhaps one should think of it this way, everything that has happened up to this point, everything that has culminated in the Bush administration and which has been continued without demure under the Obama administration, torture, forced confessions, illegal searches, the gutting of Habeas Corpus, the shredding of the Constitution, secret trials, secret evidence, secret prisons, rendition, an Imperial Executive an impotent legislature, endless wars, endless taxes, endless propaganda....all of it, every single bit of it, is EXACTLY what the constitution was designed and written to PREVENT!!  -- Or to put it another way, if the founding fathers were alive today, they would arrest everybody in the White House, Congress and even the Supreme Court, give them a quick trial....and than hang every one of the sons-of-bitches. –  *mpg* -- posted 10-29-09

The parasitic class however, are still being very cautious about actually enforcing their break with the constitution, (and for those in government, their break with their oath of office).  They're introducing the "concept" of these Constitutional violations to the American people while, for the moment, refraining from actually deploying these concepts on a mass scale.  As many commentators have repeatedly pointed out, "they want to condition" the American people to accept there newly imposed slave status before actually making them into slaves.

For example, they tortured Jose Padilla who they imprisoned and they also imprisoned John Walker Lindh, both were American citizens.  And they have assassinated many Americans overseas. In many cases with hardly any evidence of their supposed crimes.  On the other hand neither Jose Padilla nor John Walker Lindh were executed after they'd been arrested because actual evidence in a public trial is still needed to do so in this country.  Much more importantly to do so would have set a bad precedent for the parasites who occupy Washington DC.

After all, with anywhere from fifty to a hundred thousand Americans having been responsible at one point or another during the last thirty years in supplying over a hundred billion dollars to various "terrorist" groups throughout the Middle East, (and they're still supplying them to this day) and with several thousand of the parasitic class directly involved in staging the event called 9/11, (almost all of them by helping to cover it up) it would have set a very bad precedent for them to advocate executions at this particular point in time.

But that policy will eventually change. – mpg
