This website editor is utterly neutral in regards to immigration and immigration reform.  That said, you CANNOT have your economic elites invite immigrants in, employ these immigrants, allow these immigrants to settle down, have children, build their homes, establish roots in their community -- over periods of twenty years or more -- and than deport them.

You also CANNOT establish some sort of second class citizenship status for a group of people living in this country, because it will quickly erode every single law we have....or did have.

• If people want to have a border like the former Soviet Union, fine, it will be used to keep them in, not keep people out.
• If people want to have a national ID card, fine, it will be used to track their movements, not those who are immigrants.
• If people advocate mass incarceration and deportation, fine, it will establish a horrific  precedent that will be used against them, and soon....

The options are now severely limited regarding this situation, the logic is inescapable.  People who don't like immigrants should have put their foot down twenty or thirty years ago and fined the agricultural and industrial corporations that employed "illegals".  But they didn't, and WE ALL KNOW WHY!

Because people in this country wanted cheap baby-sitters, domestic help, janitorial services, home re-modellers and agricultural products.

So why weren't these immigrants allowed in "legally"?  Because it would have been politically impossible. 

So everybody got to have their cake and eat it too....right?  But now that the economy is suffering from an exceptionally bad case of Empire Bloat, not to mention the spending of tens of trillions for a bunch of greedy Banksters and Israel's PNAC Protocols, those who exploited the "illegals" and their labor with a wink and a nod are complaining about the whole situation.

Well....the one thing Americans are really good at is being hypocritical.  So to all you hypocrites out there, stop whining and blaming those in our society who have the least amount of political and economic power.  It is truly disgusting, cowardly and utterly despicable when you do so. - mpg
