NATO bombs cleared the path for ISIS in Libya
For The Record - A quote...."In the midst of the Libyan rebellion of 2011, foreign affairs minister John Baird dropped into Benghazi. Fired up to support the foes of Libyan dictator Moammar Gadhafi, the Harper government and other NATO countries, notably France and Britain, were bombing positions across Libya."
FYI:  It was called "Operation Unified Protector", it went on for more than seven months, (23 March – 31 October 2011 - 222 days).  Tens of thousands were killed, many if not most died under a rain of NATO bombs which included the use of depleted uranium and possibly DIME munitions. They dropped more tonnage on Libya than was dropped on Britain during WWII

As of October 20th 2011, when NATO was considering ceasing air operations, they had conducted ...."
"....a total of 26,089 sorties over Libya - PDF since April 1.  Of these, 9,618 were considered strike sorties which means they were armed for a strike mission, but doesn’t mean ordnance was dropped."
To put these statistics into perspective, Libya's population is roughly six million, the US-NRE's is 320 million.  If it was the US-NRE receiving these "kinetic love bombs", we would have been subjected to 512,960 strike sorties. [320/6=53.33] [53.33*9,618=512,960].
That's over half a million strike sorties for over seven months if these air operation had been inflicted on this country.

With fifty three times more tonnage of bombs being dropped than were dropped on Britain during WWII.
All to support radical, Salifist Wahhabist, terrorists, many of whom were imported foreign mercenaries, destroy the former Libyan government -- Now Libya is still in chaos almost four years later.  Oded Yinon would have said "Mission Accomplished", the Amerikan public, if they even gave it a thought, which is extremely doubtful, would drool a little, look cross-eyed, and at worst state....."What's a Libya?", and at best state...."Go figure, wonder how that happened?" - mpg
