Two points regarding Webster Tarpley's usually reflective, erudite, and well researched monologues which have been annoying this website editor for quite awhile and must be addressed. 

One:  Is his totally unfathomable support of Obama(no)care.  Admittedly Tarpley is a statist, but he has also repeatedly objected to fascism.  How he can support a government mandated program, one that contains severe penalties to force citizens to pay corporate entities, whose sole purpose is to charge the most amount of money while providing the least amount of care, is beyond this website editor's understanding. 

Such a pervasive, mandatory, discriminatory (none of the high government officials are required to participate) punitive corporate program meets the very definition of Mussolini's description of fascism, the merger of the corporate sector with that of the state for the benefit of the wealthy elite.  To say his stance is utterly contradictory would be an understatement.

Two:  Tarpley is constantly describing Cliven Bundy's brave stance, and that of his supporters against the Federal government's land grab on behalf of wealthy, well connected, political elites as an example of fascism.  Again a nonsensical totally contradictory point of view.

Yes, Bundy is a "millionaire".  Yes, he owns, and his related family have managed since the 1880s, a 160-acre farm southwest of Bunkerville, and he had at last count 908 head of cattle scattered across roughly 1,200 square miles of remote mountains and desert managed by the Bureau of Land Management.  That's according to the BLM itself.

Wow! -- Ohhhhh he's so rich! -- Waking up every day at dawn and working yourself to the bone running cattle across thousands of acres of desert and mountainous terrain makes you "a millionaire" only because the Federal Reserve has printed the dollar to extinction!  In fact this is such a "lucrative opportunity" that of the 26 ranches in Clark county, Clive Bundy's is the only one left.

Again, as with Obama(no)care, this confrontation was caused by highly connected corporate  interests, in this case involving fracking rights, a solar power deal, and a land development deal.  Along with the corruption of various government officials and their family members that would make the fictional story as portrayed in the movie "China Town" pale by comparison. 

This again is the very definition of fascism. Of powerful corporate / state interests merged together to oppress the little guy, in this case, through the overwhelming, thuggish, use of force including the use of paid mercenaries.

It should also be noted that Clive Bundy's and his supporters' brave stand against the reign of state terror initiated by the parasites' arranged causus belli called 9/11, has so far been THE ONLY successful armed stand against the Federal Government so far!!  As such it should be loudly commended and lauded, not criticized.

Tarpley is seriously inconsistent in his treatment of both these issues regarding his stated opposition to fascism.  One can only hope he reconsiders his position. 

Otherwise....one can only conclude, that his statist leanings are so strong, they even override his "stated" opposition to fascism, and that he would actually be willing to support any action by the state, on behalf of the tiny Bankster / Corporate parasitical class, even if it was against the interests of the "people", even if it severely harmed the "people" themselves, if the "people's" opposition threatened in any way the control exercised by the corporate/fascist state.  - mpg
