• The Constitution and legal system, itself, were obstacles to oligarchy. Thus, the wealthy have created the “terrorism” bogeyman to justify eroding our rights, in the name of security. Now, we have Orwellian surveillance and militarized police, which would have been unthinkable 30 years ago.
• In capitalism, wealth is power, so the elite take every opportunity to encourage corporations to gouge the lower classes. Oligopoly is present in virtually every industry now. Our standard of living deteriorates while real wages have remained stagnant over the last 30 years. This is no accident.
• Polarization is a very effective means of keeping the lower classes disorganized and distracted. I’m astonished daily how many people fall for the liberal/conservative farce. Also, the ways that the rich have used racial division, particularly with respect to urban blacks, is outright criminal.
