It's been postulated below that the U.S. is trying to become the world's New Roman Empire, that postulation may have been a gross exaggeration and over estimation of America's capabilities and character. What the U.S. appears to have become is the world's biggest organized crime syndicate. "You don't 'ah do business with us we break'a ya'bones, we break'a ya'face, we break'a your kids. Ya' unnerstan"? This is what happens EVERY time you do business with the U.S., especially its large corporations. If you don't believe that, look at Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Chile, Iraq, Vietnam, and what might happen to Iran or Venezuela. All countries that did business with the U.S. at one time or another and then tried to strike a better deal, or didn't like the one they were given....... well you know what happened to some of them. Simple rule....... just don't let the U.S. in your door. Sure you can probably sell to the U.S. as long as you're careful and stay twenty feet upwind, but allow U.S. corporations into your country? What for? You want to get five cents on the dollar for your oil, gold, diamonds or natural gas? You want to pay the vig to the IMF and the World Bank at 10%, 12%, 14% while you're getting 3% on U.S. treasuries which are losing 5% to 10% every year as the dollar declines? You want to watch your entire agricultural industry get plowed under for useless commodity crops while you're choking on the expensive pesticides and gagging on the fertilizers they force you to use? You want to see your democracies; your free markets get perverted, twisted, and turned into the opposite of what they should be? The U.S.'s version of Klepto-Crony-Capitalism What for? You've got all of Europe, China, Russia, India, Brazil, the Pacific Rim countries and each other to choose your investors from. Sure you're one of the elites in your country, one of it's officials. You might think you're smart, you might think you can handle the U.S. corporations, take their higher bribes and get out clean.......you mean like Noriega, like Sadam, like all the millions of dead that should be laid at the U.S.'s doorstep? Even if you could arrange to leave your country with a handsome profit when all is said and done, before you decide to sell yourself, why don't you go into your kids bedrooms and take a look at them, better yet go outside and look at your neighborhood, look at your city, your neighbors, your churches, mosques and synagogues.
