A fine critique on Banksterism as it applies to the Russian economy,

There are some good ideas in this critique on how to shelter Russia's economy from the massive quantities of unearned leverage being generated by foreign speculators and foreign Banksters.  Much of them, unpleasantly enough, involving monitoring transactions and the imposition of taxes.  Which was also suggested by this website editor.

Capital controls of any sort should never be implemented. But taxes on currencies and the securities based on those currencies that rise above and beyond a true bench mark, such as the PPP (Purchasing Power Parity) or any other bench marks based on measurable, tangible assets, might be an effective solution.

However extreme caution must be exercised that such programs do not become overly complicated, onerous, and most importantly, don't distort what would be those actual aspects of a  "free-market" in both its transactions and outcomes if these markets weren't already distorted by the Banksters' shenanigans. 

In other words the sole goal of these programs should be to produce a "free market" based on collateralized transactions and actual capital savings by eliminating the Banksters' advantage of their massive programs of unearned leverage.....

....Without these programs devolving into another way of distorting or taxing the "free market" by the government, its well connected oligarchs, or by any other soon-to-be vested interest groups who may benefit from such programs.

A goal that anyone attempting this task should clearly understand might very well be impossible.  In other words it's quite probable, even inevitable, that any "cure" might be worse than the "disease" especially if it does not have "sunset" provisions  or other features that will automatically turn off such programs when "free-market" conditions finally hold sway.

But SOMETHING should be done about the tens of trillions of faux-script and derivative leverage being created willy-nilly every single year (now by most calculus, way North of a quadrillion dollars) for the geo-political and financial advantage of just a few countries and their parasitical classes. - mpg

This ENTIRE series of events reminds this website editor of what happened to California during the "energy crisis" of 2000, 2001. As everyone found out later, a company called Enron had totally ripped the state of California off for billions of dollars. California never got any of it back.  Enron had completely gamed the system.

They ran rings around the California Electricity Oversight Board (CEOB), joked about how they took down power stations at critical moments, re-routed power, and shut down, or "congested" power lines to reduce power output to the entire state of California while those at the CEOB were desperately on the phones trying to scrap up every kilowatt they could on the open market at five, six, ten times the going contracted rates to avoid rolling black-outs.

The state of California was ridiculed, along with the employees who warned a scam was being run on the peopel of California, while so-called "free-market" "conservatives" claimed it was the state's environmental policy that caused the crisis, because it prevented the construction of new power plants.

Enron employes were later caught, on tape, laughing about how they [expletive deleted] the grandmothers in California, how they used tricks called "Death Star", "Fat Boy", "Ricochet", "Black Widow", "Bigfoot" and "Get Shorty", how they utterly out-smarted the employees at the CEOB with their highly sophisticated computer programs, front running every one of their trades, knowing exactly how much power the state employees needed at any given moment and how to squeeze them to generate the maximum amount of revenue.

The power markets in California had been completely gamed, none of the information available the employees at the CEOB was real.  Just as the currency markets are now being completely gamed and none of the information available to the employees of Russia's Central Bank is real

Whatever the guys at Enron did, and how they did it, is exactly how the Banksters are doing it to Russia right now!

Interview 974 – Fairdinkum Radio: Russia, China and Globalization

This is a good interview, and would have been classified as a "must listen", except for Corbett's absolutely stark raving insanity regarding "leaders" and "governments".  He takes an ASTOUNDINGLY absolutest position that all leaders, and basically all hierarchical structures, are "bad" and cannot be judged, weighed or measured on what they do in the real world. 

If one nation invades hundreds of countries and murders tens of millions of its own citizens and those of others during the course of a hundred years, it is the exact moral equivalent of a nation that invades no one, and murders no one, for the same length of time. 

All political systems, except of course Corbett's deranged fantasy of complete unfettered anarchy are "bad", and all leaders of such systems are "bad" therefore, as he himself stated in the interview, no moral judgments can be, or should be made about them.  Iran which has invaded no one in two hundred years is the exact equivalent of the United States which has invaded everyone during the last hundred.  Corbett himself states we can't have "good guys" or "bad guys".  In other words they're all the same no matter what actions they take and no matter their prior history. 

If during the recent Syrian crisis Putin, instead of giving Obama the way out with his plan to remove Syria's chemical weapons, had instead launched an all out nuclear attack against the United States resulting in the deaths of a billion people, it would have been the same in Corbett's view morally speaking.  Because all actions taken in hierarchical structures by those who head such structure are "bad", or more precisely, irrelevant, no matter what those actions may be.
 
He would no doubt say Putin was forced to make his "reasonable" decision (it's questionable if Corbett even considers such a term as being applicable) because of a similar "bad" system called the United States. Therefore they're morally the same and it matters not if Putin should save the entire world, or destroy it, all decisions from any hierarchical systems are morally equivalent, and ALL, each and every single one of them, no matter what the result, are irrelevant and are not to be used to judge the "goodness" or "badness" of such a system or any of it's leaders.
So to all you peaceniks out there, just give it up. You're not allowed to "blame" other societies or make "judgments" about them regarding their prior or current activities.  Just follow Obama's favorite phrase...."let's put it all behind us"....continuously.  If you do so you'll feel so much better.

To all you world leaders, why bother trying?  If you torture, rape and murder millions of your own citizens and those of other countries, if you cooperate with the Banksters and grind your peasant scum into the muck, if you bring back slavery, cannibalism, and launch a worldwide campaign of terrorism, you're still the exact moral equivalent of Mahatma Gandhi in the eyes of James Corbett.

On the other hand you could lead your people to an unbridled reign of peace and prosperity, one which has never, EVER, been witnessed in the entire course of human history, and you're still no different than Caligula using Corbett's moral compass. 

And for every single person who works in government, those who risk their livelhoods, their families, and their own lives to do a decent job for their people, you're no different than Jack the Ripper, or Ghangis Khan, or Idi Amin.  You work in a system, which has leaders, and hierarchies and for which no judgements can or should be made, regarding their actions, or yours.

No political system ever devised by the minds of men, nor those who ever tried to lead them, whether into slavish tyranny or free prosperity, are good enough for James Corbett. They're all morally equivalent, and so are all those who work for them, no matter what they do.
So everyone, relax and enjoy yourselves. If you want to chow down on a little "long-pig", no problem, it tastes just like pork!  If you work for the BBC, go ahead and help supply them little kiddies to those in the establishment, they need their playtime.  If you work for the SEC, go right on helping them Banksters rip off your society, they're doing "God's work" after all.  If you're employed by the Fed, ECB, BOJ, you keep right on printing that faux-script, it'll teach them peasants the value of putting their little noses to the grind stone. If you're in the military, just state the "guberment made me do it" as you torture them raggedy ass towel heads to death, or rape a sixteen year old girl and shoot her and her entire family to death, or gun down a few uppity reporters from your chopper.

You're all absolutely forgiven under Corbett's system of belief.  You work for an evil hierarchical system and no moral judgements can be made about your actions. "Dem leaders and dat dare hierarchical system made you do it."
Corbett postulates a more divine, harmonious, egalitarian, pure system (think of harps being discreetly plucked, little fluffy white clouds, and golden, cherubic angels at this point) where all are equal and none are more equal than others. A system -- one certainly can't call it a society -- that has no "hierarchy" and no "leaders" and therefore is always "good". 

The Russians had a very similar system imposed on them by a bunch of trans-national Euro-Kazarians back in 1917, it was called Bolshevik Communism, and resulted in the unnecessary deaths of over thirty million Russians, and the enslavement of the Russian people for over seventy years.
Of course, his actual system would be much worse, it's a system where one can't make moral judgements about anything except how it relates to yourself as an individual, using only your own frame of reference, without the input of any agreed frames constructed by others.

A system where any agreed upon, onerous, societal restrictions, or attempts to impose conformity, or even basic consistency, such as laws, regulations, religious prohibitions, cultural norms, etc are fundamentally flawed and evil no matter what their results.

It is of course a system which has NEVER in fact, actually existed for any sustained period of time, anywhere, during the entire ten thousand years of written human history.  Except, very briefly....and almost always, during a given society's darkest hours.

It's a system that's actually worse than Bolshevik Communism....

It's called Nihilism.
